I have never felt the cold as I have been feeling it as my insulation slowly comes away. I woke up in the middle of the night fighting to find another duvet to put on my bed - never have I ever had to do this. I used to sleep with a 4.5tog duvet with my window open and fan on 365days a year. Now I have no fan on and a 13.5tog duvet on!
