Well, I am back home.
This morning I was feeling really rough despite having had 3 bags of fluid overnight - the plan was to discharge me today once I had been rehydrated - but I continued to vomit and feel lousy.
After 3 different IV anti-sickness drugs I started to feel much better and they restarted me on a final bag of fluids and I asked to go home - and after a kerfuffle with having to see the doc I went home.
I feel ok - tired as there is always someone who snores on the ward!
The official diagnosis was dehydration secondary to Gastroenteritis.
